There are Students. And then there are

Alcott Students.

A Quality Alternative to Selective Enrollment

For academic programming to suit a diverse range of students—and an unprecedented opportunity to be part of a community—choose Alcott.

Bigger Isn’t Always Better

It can be tempting to think the best high school is the biggest one. But at Alcott, the small school model is the key to our success. After all, not everyone wants their high school to feel like college—and Alcott students thrive knowing they’re not just a number. Here, everyone knows our students’ names, and after four years, they graduate as not just friends… but family.

“Education isn’t an assembly line. You’re not turning out cars or refrigerators. You’re working with individuals, and at Alcott, we take that into account.”

— Libby Thompson, Alcott Teacher

Student Involvement

Alcott students participate in a variety of activities, both athletic and social. More than 70% of students are involved with one of our ten Wildcats teams. And almost as many participate in clubs; whatever they’re into—anime, chess, animal rights, math, drama, science, and more—we probably have a club for it.
